Kayde Sullivan Johnson and Micheal Daulton McCartney were united in marriage on May 25, 2018 at The Standard in Knoxville, Tennessee, officiated by minister Micheal McCartney, father of the groom.
Kayde is a 2016 graduate of Cumberland County High School. She is currently a student at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. Kayde is the daughter of Dr. Kimberly Johnson of Crossville and the granddaughter of Burl and Lynda Johnson of Pikeville. Daulton is a 2014 graduate of Cumberland County High School. He graduated from the University of Tennessee on May 12, 2018. Daulton is the son of Micheal and Diane McCartney of Pleasant Hill and the grandson of Robbie Selby and the late Clayton Selby of Pleasant Hill, Ron and Nita McCartney of Tansi, and Mark and Sheila Cogar of Buckhannon, West Virginia.
The bride was attended by high school friend, Jessica Brock, as maid-of-honor, friends Molly Campbell of Yukon, Oklahoma, Jessica MacDonald of McKinney, Texas, Emma Aly of Pegram, Tennessee, and sister of the bride Kyndell Tabor of Searcy, Arkansas.
The groom's party included best man and cousin of the groom Matthew Bond, friends Gabriel Figueroa of Knoxville, Derrick Sherrill of Crossville, Chandler Tate of Knoxville, and Zakk King of Crossville.
Kayde was escorted down the aisle and "given away" by her mother, Dr. Kimberly Johnson.
Kayde and Daulton honeymooned in Portland, Oregon. The couple now reside in Searcy, Arkansas where both will continue their education.
